By accessing or using PlugThis (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About PlugThis
PlugThis is a platform that allows users to create Chrome extensions using natural language prompts. The Service generates extension code, previews, and exportable files based on user input.
PlugThis is an early-stage product and provided on an “as is” basis.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country).
- You sign in using Google authentication only and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any reason, including violations of these Terms.
3. Use of the Service
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate malicious, deceptive, harmful, illegal, or infringing content/extensions.
- Input prompts that violate third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark).
- Reverse engineer, decompile, overload, or interfere with the Service.
- Use the Service to develop competing products or train AI models.
- Violate Chrome Web Store policies, browser terms, or applicable laws.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute the Service without written permission.
We may monitor usage and restrict access if we believe it harms the Service, users, or third parties.
4. User Content and Generated Outputs
- Your Inputs: You retain ownership of your prompts (“Inputs”).
- Generated Outputs: You own the generated extension code and exported files (“Outputs”), subject to third-party claims.
- License to Us: You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and use Inputs/Outputs to provide the Service, improve functionality, and aggregate anonymized data.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your Inputs and Outputs. Exported extensions run independently and do not communicate with us.
Important: Outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or third-party IP. We do not guarantee Outputs are original, non-infringing, or suitable for any purpose.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service (excluding your Outputs) is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivatives without permission.

6. Payments and Plans
The Service may include free and paid plans with credit-based limits.
- Payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments; we do not store card details.
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
- Credits do not roll over; exports/limits vary by plan.
- We may change pricing with notice.
7. User Responsibility for Extensions
You are solely responsible for:
- Reviewing, testing, and securing generated code.
- Ensuring compliance with Chrome Web Store policies and laws.
- Any damages from use/distribution of your extensions.
We do not guarantee Chrome approval or functionality.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind.
We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Outputs may be incomplete or erroneous; use at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability is limited to amounts paid by you in the prior 12 months (or $100 if none).
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims arising from:
- Your Inputs/Outputs.
- Violation of these Terms.
- Infringement claims related to your use.
11. Termination
- We may suspend/terminate access at any time for violations or other reasons.
- You may stop using the Service anytime; request data deletion via support.
- Upon termination, you lose access to saved projects (unless exported).
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Karnataka, India, without regard to conflicts of law.
13. Miscellaneous
- Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains effective.
- No Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without consent.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms supersede prior agreements.
- Third-Party Services: The Service uses Google authentication and may link to third parties (e.g., Chrome); their terms apply.
